I’m a fan of term definitions to help assure that we are talking about the same thing. So today’s contemplation is defining the 2 terms above that can get confusing.
Contemplation: to consider, think about, ruminate, ponder etc. an idea or experience in order to better understand its personal meaning.
Meditation: Allowing the mind to settle into the silent peace.
There is more to be said about these terms, but those are the basics upon which to build.
