Here is my version of the classic relaxation method developed in the 1920s by Edmund Jacobson. It’s a foundational component of the Mindbody Pain Management Online Course.
To gain the most benefit from using this recording I suggest the following:
- set aside 30 minutes without interruption
- be sure you’re in a comfortable position, lying or sitting
- listen to the entire session
- repeat daily for 21 days
The purpose of the 21 day repetition is to create a neurological pattern that becomes integrated into your mind and body. You will then be able induce this relaxation effect on command.
